We offerer you to learn most
practical figures for dancing Tango and Milonga
in a social setting of Buenos Aires or New York!
Fugures that were born as a
consequence of social dancers in Argentina creating moves
right on the dance floor to be able to join the flow of
the "milonga" and at the same time reflecting
most beautiful music of the Tango orchestras from the Golden
Era...
Our goal is to take you from
a level of an average social dancer to dancing like a pro,
to enrich your musicality, to polish your style...
GENERAL INFORMATION
TangOblivion regular program
consists of weekly carefully structured workshop-style classes
designed to MAXIMIZE your learning potential through the
following elements: special exercises, combinations and
after class supervised practice.
TRADITIONAL TANGO class is especially designed
for those dancers who enjoy attending popular milongas in
New York and Buenos Aires and mostly dance in a close embrace.It
is a fundamental class for the dancer of any level with
the emphasis on posture, walking, elegance as well as the
ability to dance in a compact space. Traditional Tango fugures
are taught in detail.
FUNDAMENTAL EXERCISES is the best tool of TangOblivion
system, carefuly selected by Angeles Chanaha after more
than 10 years of training with the best of both CLASSICAL
& NUEVO titans of today's TANGO scene: Osvaldo Zotto and
Lorena Ermocida, "Chicho" Frumboli, Alejandra Mantinan.
If you stick with it - the progress is guaranteed!!!
EXPERIMENTAL TANGO class is exactly that - TRYING
THINGS! It is a FUN class, however do not expect it to be
easy...Exploring the "geometry" of possibilities in Tango,
inclination of the axis, free spins/turns and much more.
Note: an appropriate combination reflecting
the theme is taught during each class

Classes
Angeles and Michael are available
for private classes in Manhattan and Edison, New Jersey.Private
classes are taught by either one or both instructors by
request.All private classes are 50 minutes long and available
at the following locations:

being charged for the lesson, all cancellations must be
made at least 24 hours in advance.
